Disability Resource Centre

In previous years the Disability Resource Centre (DRC) has held a transition event for incoming students every September. Obviously, this year we are having to do things a little differently, but we are hoping to provide all the information which would’ve been in the event virtually on these webpages.

Welcome from Professor Graham Virgo, Senior Vice-Chancellor for Education

Please watch this short film by Professor Graham Virgo, Senior Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Education welcoming you to our virtual transition event.

In the sections below you will find short videos (with captions available) and information on the following topics:

  1. An introduction to the Disability Resource Centre and staff
  2. Information on support and things to consider before you come up to Cambridge.
  3. Information on other student services including the Cambridge Students' Union
  4. Some information on what to expect of college life and study

If after watching the films and reading the information you still have some questions, please email using the email subject line ‘Incoming Student Question’.

Further information on the DRC can be found via the homepage or have a look at the virtual tour
