General Information

Office providing information and advice to prospective undergraduate applicants and their advisers about applying to, and studying at, Cambridge. Useful information can be found on the Undergraduate Study website.

Opening hours

10am–4pm Monday to Friday.

Trumpington Street, near Old Addenbrooke's Site. There is rather a lot of traffic in the area, and pavements are poor.

Parking in the area is very difficult, and there is little space for drop off and pick up. Call in advance for advice on parking for a short term visit.

Physical Access

Main entrance is up one step and through heavy door. Level access is available through side door nearby. Reception has low counter and small seating area.

Number of floors

Three floors in total, including ground floor.

Lifts and stairs

No lift. Stairs have a continuous handrail.

No disabled toilet, but there are standard toilets at ground level.

General access

  • Meeting rooms are on ground, first and second floors, so please request a ground floor room if needed. Moveable furniture in meeting rooms.
  • Corridors are rather narrow and may be difficult for those in large wheelchairs.
  • Small seating area in reception.

Visual Impairments

Small sign, barely visible from the street. Look for ‘Fitzwilliam House’ on the main door. Information is available in large print or other formats by prior request.

Please contact the Student Recruitment and Information Assistant, Lucy Bunker, using the general contact details above. The Undergraduate Study website complies with various accessibility guidelines.

Hearing Impairments

No induction loops currently.

The offices are carpeted and quiet, although there is sometimes traffic noise from outside.

Other Useful Information

  • Prospective applicants with disabilities of any sort are encouraged to contact the Disability Resource Centre, who can provide advice and support with applications, grants, and study.
