General Information

The International Strategy Office is housed in The Old Schools, Trinity Lane and located on 2nd floor.  Access can be difficult, but arrangements will always be made to accommodate your needs. Please feel free to call in advance.

Opening hours

9am–5pm Monday to Friday.

Location

The Old Schools is located on Trinity Lane access to main entrance and reception is off Trinity Lane, near Clare College and King’s College Chapel.

Parking

Parking is not available at The Old Schools. Driving is restricted between 10am – 4pm.  Closest drop off point within the restricted times is on Kings Parade.

Physical Access

Entrances

Main entrance, up several steps and through 2 doors to Reception.

Number of floors

Three floors in total. The Ground Floor level is a small entrance hall leading to stairwells.

The International Strategy Office is located in the basement. There are several steps down to basement level and through three heavy doors for entry to the office. There is an intercom located at second internal door for assistance.

Lifts and stairs

Lift entrance on Ground floor but accessed only up several stone steps.  Lift via main reception not wheelchair accessible.  Stairs have a banister on one side.

Toilets

Accessible toilets on Senate House side of the building. Non-disabled toilets available on ground and 2nd floor – accessed by stairs to all.

General access

  • No Meeting rooms are available at basement level.

Visual Impairments

  • Reception Sign at Entrance, not visible from Trinity Lane
  • Information is available in large print or other formats by prior request.

Hearing Impairments

  • No induction loops currently.
  • The offices are carpeted and quiet.
