Parking

Visitor parking is not ordinarily available, but may be possible if you request it in advance of your visit. Please telephone 01223 331 201 in order to discuss this.

General Information

The Student Registry is the administrative centre for the maintenance of the University's student records, fee liability and associated activities for students and staff. Opening hours are 9am-5pm Monday to Friday. Please notify staff of any special requirements you have so that appropriate arrangements can be made.

Physical Access

Entrances

Four steep steps to front entrance, with no handrail, through two 66cm wide doors. Bell at top of steps. Level access at rear entrance. Follow the signs from our front door and press the bell when you get to the door at the rear of the building or, alternatively telephone on 01223 766 302 for access.

Number of floors

Three floors in total. The ground floor has wide doors and is open plan, so almost all areas at ground level are accessible.

Lifts and stairs

No lift. The first floor is accessed by a long flight of stairs (+9, +7 and +8) with a continuous handrail to the right.

Meeting rooms

Reception with low counter, open meeting area and meeting room on ground floor.

Toilets

There is no disabled toilet available. The nearest disabled toilet is available at the Graduate Union. Normal toilets are available on the first floor.

Visual Impairments

Large print, Braille and audio

Large print information (or other format) is available on request.

Signs and wayfinding

There is a touch-readable and Braille sign at the main entrance, to the left of the main door. There are clear, blue and yellow signs within the building.
