Small lecture theatre, seating around 150 people. Used for lectures and seminars. Access is difficult.

Location

Sidgwick Site, near Raised Faculty Building. See separate entry for Sidgwick Site.

Physical Access

  • Level access from raised section of Sidgwick Site, through heavy double doors. Tiered fixed bench seating, with shallow steps and no handrail down through auditorium. A small amount of space for wheelchairs or other chairs at top level.
  • No access to stage.
  • Nearest disabled toilet is in Lecture Block.

Visual Impairments

  • Lights dimmed during lectures and projections.
  • No handrails on steps.

Hearing Impairments

  • Induction loop installed. If you use a hearing aid, remind the speaker to use the microphone, as many do not.
