I started there as a Note taker and Specialist Mentor, then became the Disabled Students Allowance Administrator before finally becoming the Senior Administrator of the Centre in 2018.

Things I enjoy:

Painting and drawing, kayaking, running and cycling. I am also fond of quizzes and puzzles, especially escape room games and treasure hunts.

Prior to joining the ADRC I helped to establish a college-based wellbeing service at the University.  I trained as a medical doctor and worked in the NHS for several years, specialising in Surgery and Radiology.  I have a PGCert in Medical Education and am currently studying for a PGCert in Autism.

About me

I am the Autism Screening Adviser at the ADRC. I joined the ADRC in 2023 to form part of the new Screening Service Team. I am very passionate about supporting Autistic Students, and those with Specific Learning Differences. My background is in Psychology, and I have previously worked in psychological research relating to mental health, assisted reproduction and developmental psychology. I have also worked in schools, sports settings and in the NHS as part of a team who worked with neurodivergent individuals providing both therapy and diagnostic assessments. I am particularly interested in the varying presentations of Autism and how Autism may present in undiagnosed adults. I am also very interested in the role of masking and how Autism presents in high masking individuals. I feel so lucky to be able to work with students at Cambridge and to be a part of such a wonderful team.
