  • time management
  • organisation
  • motivation
  • goal setting
  • managing stress

We are looking for applicants who are available for around 10+ hours per week. The hours of work vary, depending on student requirements. Hours of work could include evenings and weekends if you choose.

You will be registered with the University of Cambridge Temporary Employment Service.

This role involves hybrid working. Mentors are required to deliver some mentoring sessions in central Cambridge and some mentoring sessions online each week.

About you

We are looking for applicants who:

  • have experience of working with disabled people
  • have experience working one-to-one with people
  • have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • are able to maintain clear boundaries
  • have excellent problem solving skills

You must be based in Cambridge. You'll need to come to the Accessibility and Disability Resource Centre (ADRC) in Cambridge to complete a right to work check.

You must be available until at least June 2025.

We particularly welcome applications from traditionally under-represented groups of the community.

This role is not open to current undergraduate students, or to any students who are themselves receiving ADRC mentoring support.
