About the role
As a Notetaker, you'll support students by taking comprehensive lecture and supervision notes for disabled students in a format that suits them.
You will make notes both during in-person classes and from lecture recordings.
You will maintain confidentiality and keep in regular contact with the Accessibility & Disability Resource Centre (ADRC).
We are looking for applicants who are available for around 5+ hours per week during term-time. The hours of work vary, depending on student requirements.
You will be registered with the University of Cambridge Temporary Employment Service.
About you
We are looking for applicants who:
- have an undergraduate degree, with a postgraduate degree being desirable
- have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- are able to maintain clear boundaries
- can make detailed and accurate notes
Experience of working with disabled people is desirable.
You must be based in Cambridge. You'll need to come to the ADRC to complete a right to work check.
You must be available until at least June 2025.
We particularly welcome applications from traditionally under-represented groups of the community.
This role is not open to current undergraduate students.
